Its the week I've been waiting for for a long time - Sanjaya finally got voted off American Idol. It took way too long for that to happen. He butchered one too many songs.
Next up, Phil and Lakisha. If the top four are Blake, Chris, Melinda and Jordin, I'll be happy with any one of them winning. I still think Gina should be here, she was voted off way too prematurely and I can't help but think it was because of her musical style, but she did prove that she can go outside her comfort zone and still sing well. I just don't get why she was voted off so early (especially when duds like Sanjaya, Haley and Phil were still on).
It once again proves that America is tone deaf.
