For weeks during American Idol, Fox aired promo commercials for Drive, a new show starring Firefly's Nathan Fillion. They seemed to pour a lot of money into it. It didn't seem like the brightest idea for a show - I mean, how long can a cross-country road race last? (Danielle asked that every single time we saw the commercial...)
Now, after only airing a few episodes, they've cancelled the series. Not surprising, really. Although I find it laughable that Fox is always canceling series before they get a chance to get off the ground. On the plus side, at least it wasn't a sci-fi series a la Dark Angel or Firefly.
