"Hot Alien" on Atlantis

I was reading over at the GateWorld forums yesterday, and I was surprised by the amount of attention (good and bad) the latest Atlantis episode - "Travelers" - is getting. Most of it revolves around Shepherd and the main antagonist for the episode, Larrin (played by Jill Wagner).

Some people are up in arms about the seemingly unending sexual innuendo present throughout nearly the whole episode. Others enjoyed the conflict between Shepherd and Larrin, as its rare that he gets the chance to go up against a woman like this. I mean, sure he's clashed heads with Dr. Weir in the past, but I don't think there was any sexual tension there. He can't very well have those sorts of scenes with Colonel Carter. And, well, Teyla is just non-confrontational by nature. So, the thought of him going up against a woman who can match him move for move and be able to build that feeling that Shepherd just wants to forget about what's going on and get in her pants, was interesting.

Wow, did I just say that? ;) Perhaps the best line from the episode was near the end, once Shepherd is safe and sound back on Atlantis. He's telling Teyla, Ronin and Rodney about his experience, and Rodney is all agitated and upset (as usual), and spouts out, "How come I never get kidnapped by the hot alien?!"
