I've been reading the GateWorld website for a while now, to keep up to date on the latest Stargate info. I had heard rumblings in the past as they promoted the fan created and written Stargate: Horizon. Its written in script format, so it looks like a script for an actual television episode when you read it. I always thought, "A fanfic Stargate series written in script format? Boring!"
Until today...
Our network went down at work today for quite some time and, while I was still "working" by printing out large maps, those maps took a while to print out on our plotter, so between printing and folding, I was reading the first episode of Horizon.
I realized something as I started reading through it - its really good! I mean, I could not stop reading. I finished the first episode tonight and now I'm hooked.
The only downside is that they're in their fourth season now, which means I have 60+ episodes to read through to catch up. I guess it will eventually happen. ;)
