First Crisis Core Impressions

DISCLAIMER: This is not my full review, which will have to wait until I get much more involved in the game. These are just my first impressions after about two hours of game play.

Excellent cinematics, awesome graphics. This is what Final Fantasy games are all about. You notice this right away in the first 15-20 minutes. Its great!

I really like the idea of the missions. They're short, fun and reward nicely in gil, experience and items. What's great about the missions is there is no risk at all. If you die in a mission, you're returned with full health and mana to the save point from which you accessed the mission.

The story piques your interest right off the bat and the voice acting, so far, is very well done.

There are a few small issues I've seen so far (wonky camera, some bland texturing, etc.), which I'll cover in more depth in my full review, but that will have to wait until I return from my road trip this weekend.
