Japanese Translations for Video Games

I've always wanted to import game from Japan, especially when systems like the PS3 and PSP are region-free. However, one hurdle rears its ugly head - I can't read Japanese. Perhaps this will help some.

In part one of their series on Japanese translations for video game phrases, Gemaga discusses common game menu items. Perhaps this will motivate me enough to import a game? Only time will tell.
