Changing Up the Blogroll

For quite a while I've been using Blogrolling.com for my blogroll lists on the right. Lately, though, their site (not the service) has be down and has not been allowing you to make changes to your blogrolls (they're revamping the web interface and the service in general). I wanted to add some new blogs to my blogroll that I've been reading lately and couldn't.

So, I messed around with some of the cool little features Blogger allows you to put on your blog and found a blog list widget. After further inspection, that widget allows you to easily list sites that I read with Google Reader. Its very easy to set up and update. It was almost a no-brainer that I decided to go with that instead of Blogrolling.com, not because Blogrolling is a horrible service and not because I couldn't update my blogroll today when I wanted to, but because the Blogger blog list is so much easier to use and takes a lot of the manual hassle out of adding new blogs.

So, that's what you see now on the right side of my blog. The only issue is, when I try putting two blog lists on top of each other over there, only the second one shows up, so I'll have to find a work-around for that before I can put my web comics list back up. But, given the extreme ease of use of doing this with Blogger instead of Blogrolling.com, the pros outweigh the cons.
