Get JRPGs on the PS3!

I've been a slacker lately when it comes to posts here - first I was sick and this last weekend I was rather busy doing other things. However, I did come across this interesting Internet petition. Its a petition to Sony to work harder to get Japanese RPGs on the console.

As we all know, Sony's consoles have previously been quite well-known for having a vast library of RPGs, mostly of the Japanese variety. This hasn't really stopped, either. (Look at the recent releases of the Persona games, for example.) However, the PS3 isn't quite catching on the bandwagon yet. In fact, the 360 has more quality JRPGs already released or announced for it than Sony can claim for their console.

What gives? That's what this petition is trying to find out. Its likely it won't really impact things, but at least it will let Sony know there are people out there who enjoy quality RPGs and the PS3 isn't delivering quite yet. It couldn't hurt to sign it.
