Yes, yes, I've posted twice in an hour. I guess its to make up for not posting for six days or so. ;) Anyway, I just read an interesting blog post about raiding in WoW and its recent decline. Its quite interesting. Its also refreshing to see someone like Tolbold in the WoW community who is mature, logical and thought-provoking.
My feelings on the matter? Pretty much the same as the post I linked above. In general, I have no problems with the way the raiding system itself was, as long as alternate means of advancement were made available, which Blizzard did indeed add en masse to the game. However, I can say I'm quite happy with the way things are shaping up for the Lich King expansion - every single expansion raid will have a 10-man and a 25-man version. Thus, more content will be available to more people.
Gone are the days of worrying about organizing a huge mass of players and coordinating all of them. It wasn't really that difficult to organize 10 people for Karazhan, assuming the proper class balance was available. With my new guild on Moon Guard, I hope to make use of some of the new, more casual, aspects of the game that Blizzard is adding in the near future.
