I've been talking an awfully lot lately about how Sony dropped the ball when it comes to exclusive RPGs - or really, RPGs in general - on the PS3. Its not often I play non-RPGs, and its an even rarer occurrence for me to get excited over an upcoming non-RPG.
But, I do believe Little Big Planet has the possibility to redeem Sony to a certain degree, assuming it catches on. For those who have been living under a rock the last year or so, Little Big Planet is a platformer at heart, but an incredibly stylistic, infinitely customizable one. Not to mention, the levels, items and characters you customize can be shared over the PSN with the rest of the world or directly with friends.
I'm quite interested in playing this game and have been following it quite closely. It holds the possibility to put the PSN on the map when it comes to being a community portal, much like XBox Live has been for the past few years.
Needless to say, if you own a PS3 and are interested in what is shaping up to be quite the revolutionary, easily accessible and overall fun game, check out some info on Little Big Planet. It sounds like a winner.
