The last couple weeks I've been working about 3-4 hours over earlier in the week (usually work from 6am until 3pm), so I can get off at 10-11am on Friday. Its been working out pretty well. Its nice not having to worry about much on Friday besides a pretty "easy" day and getting off work before lunch.
Yesterday one of my co-workers asked me why I didn't just work four 10-hour days and get all day Friday off. I told her that would probably kill me. ;)

i think you'd be fine. you'd have 3 day weekends that way too. maybe then you wouldn't all of a sudden be sick and have to stay home when I have a vacation. ;-)
